This is the Annual General Meeting of Pirate Party Australia, and is a chance for members to discuss party policies, submit new policy proposals, constitutional amendments, stand for roles in the Party executive and as a candidate for the Senate or House of Representatives. It serves as a platform to discuss the future and structure of the Pirate Party in Australia.

The theme of the Congress is Democracy in the 21st century, and the role of the Internet in Australian democracy, and how the Pirate Party believes democracy should function.

The agenda for the event is to be finalised, however the preliminary agenda includes:

• National Council Elections
• Dispute Resolution Committee Elections
• Party Platform and Policy
• Constitutional Amendments
• Ratification of Membership to Pirate Parties International
• Campaign and Party Structure
